MUSCAT: Oman is not expected to be affected by a tropical system between October 15 and 21, 2026, according to the Civil Aviation Authority’s weekly bulletin monitoring tropical activity in the Arabian Sea.

The bulletin, issued on October 15 by the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre, indicates a moderate probability of a low-pressure area developing in the southern Arabian Sea between October 18 and 20.

However, the outlook shows no likelihood of a tropical system affecting the Sultanate of Oman during the specified period.

The centre said the bulletin is issued weekly during the Arabian Sea’s annual tropical activity season. An updated bulletin will be issued during the week if significant developments occur.
